1. Free Shipping Minimum Changes

   Starting January 1, 2022, the minimum order for free shipping on all USA orders placed on darkhorsehobbies.com will be raised from $40 to $50. We’ve held this line for years, as well as price increases from a number of suppliers, but as prices for shipping have increased beyond our ability to absorb them, we simply must adjust this policy in the coming year.

   Starting January 1, 2023, the minimum order value for free shipping on all USA orders placed on darkhorsehobbies.com will remain at $50. At this point in time we anticipate this change will be sufficient for this year, however if prices for shipping continue to increase beyond our ability to absorb them, we could be forced to adjust this policy in the coming year.

2. Minimum Shipping Charge Changes

   Starting January 1, 2023, the minimum shipping charge for orders under the minimum order value for free shipping will be increased from $8.99 to $9.99. Prices for shipping have increased beyond our ability to absorb them at the previous rate, but we hope this change will allow us to absorb the rate increases we predict will happen in October of 2023, at least for the remainder of the year.
