Warlord: Kargir - Tundra Beast Rider

Warlord takes place in the war-torn land of Taltos in the world of Adon. The region of Taltos is a place of dry, blistering summers and mild winters with various local leaders and their forces battling for control of their own destinies. They battle for the power to become Warlords and becoming legends by their own hand - some are just and fair while others are cruel and capricious. Life in Taltos is brutal, but there is a fortune to be made and eternal fame to be won.

Any encounter with a tundra beast is a frightening thing. A traveler who hears the cry of a tundra beast knows that he is being hunted and is in grave danger. The orcs of Kargir can sometimes capture a young tundra beast and train it as a mount. This training is often fatal to the trainer, but when successful produces a mount that strikes fear into all who face it. In the past, the orcs enemies simply accepted that a charge by a tundra beast or two was the first stage of any battle. Under Kavorgh's leadership, however, these headlong charges have shifted into surprise raids and flanking attacks. A tundra beast driven hard by its master through the rear of an army will, more often than not, produce decisive results that favor the orcs.
